Pantone’s Colour of the Year 2026, Cloud Dancer, is a soft white with subtle grey undertones. Calm and airy, it’s a shade designed to slow things down. Pantone’s Take a Break palette, which selects colours to pair perfectly with Cloud Dancer, is the perfect way to pair the colour of the year with existing products and timeless pieces.

Rather than standing alone, this gentle neutral works best when layered with warm tones, tactile textures and comforting accents. At Libra, we see Cloud Dancer as a backdrop that allows richer colours and materials to truly shine.

Grounding Cloud Dancer with Browns, Golds and Bronze

Soft whites come alive when grounded with warmer hues. Browns, antique golds and bronzed finishes bring richness, creating interiors that feel timeless and cosy rather than stark.

The Tambora range, with warm brown tones, sits beautifully against Cloud Dancer walls, adding visual weight without overwhelming the space. Pairing this with the Ellis Chair or the Chrishall Occasional Chair with Footstool creates an inviting corner that feels both elegant and comfortable.

Stone and marble accents enhance this layered look. The Iota Accent Table in Brown Emperador Marble introduces natural colour and depth, while accessories like the Sophia Photo Frame in Brown add subtle warmth through smaller styling moments. For dining spaces, Eska Upholstered Dining Chairs bring softness and tactility, balancing clean backdrops with comforting texture.

Warming the Palette with Orange and Terracotta

To bring energy into Cloud Dancer interiors, Pantone’s Take a Break palette leans into earthy oranges and terracotta tones. These shades add warmth while maintaining a sophisticated and calm feel.

Reactive ceramics such as the Ibiza Planters and Vases add organic character through their glazed finishes, each piece slightly unique. The Medway collection builds on this with its warm orange colour, curved silhouettes, ideal for layering on shelves or sideboards.

Soft furnishings are also an effective way to bring in the colour palette to complement Cloud Dancer. A Centric Cushion adds gentle colour and textural interest, while lighting pieces such as the Tivoli Lamp, Bruno Lamp, Elk Vase, provide colour and practicality.

Soft Contrast with Pink Accents

Cloud Dancer pairs effortlessly with muted pinks, which also complements the oranges and browns. These tones add warmth without overpowering the calm aesthetic.

The Aubrey Pink Lamp is a perfect example, its ceramic base brings subtle colour and texture to bedside tables, consoles or shelves. Against Cloud Dancer walls, it feels modern, relaxed and quietly playful.

Bringing Balance with Natural Greens

Green tones reinforce the natural feeling of Cloud Dancer. Used thoughtfully, they bring freshness while maintaining a sense of calm.

The Aubrey Green Lamp works beautifully as a grounding accent, while soft furnishings like the Tally Cushion introduce gentle colour through texture. For statement seating, the Egerton Chair or the Theodore Ottoman offer comfort-led design that feels welcoming and lived-in.

Ceramic accents like the Mediterranean Reactive Planter complete the look, adding organic depth and a sense of effortless balance, especially when paired with lush greenery.

Styling Cloud Dancer

By layering tactile materials, grounding neutrals with richer tones, and adding considered accents of colour, this palette becomes both timeless and deeply comforting. As Pantone’s Colour of the Year, Cloud Dancer sets the tone for interiors that feel calm yet full of character. With thoughtful styling and beautifully made pieces, it becomes the perfect canvas for modern living.

Upholstered pieces such as the Lewis Wingback Occasional Chair in Cream Bouclé, Casa Two Seater Sofa in Cream, and Casa Storage Ottoman are the perfect Cloud Dancer statement pieces. Their gentle curves and plush texture help the colour of the year feel welcoming rather than clinical.

Ceramic accents like the Coralie Glazed Vase and Ivory Orchard Ceramic Vase add artisanal character, bringing subtle variations in tone and finish that add to shelves, sideboards, or dining tables. While the Morchino Marble Side Table, Ravello Marble Side Table, and Cavallo Fantasy Brown Marble Side Table add contrast, anchoring light upholstery while maintaining a refined, neutral scheme.
